Clare Cui
In 2005, Clare (The Yoga Athlete) began developing her training style in her hometown of Virginia Beach. In her current area of Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch, she honed her skills as a personal trainer and strength coach by training young athletes in sports ranging from football to field hockey in the Denver, Colorado metro area. The strength training method she utilizes focuses on technique and execution of movement to build strength and flexibility to maximize performance, gain strength, and increase mobility. This type of training isn’t restricted to athletes only, but also can be used to achieve fitness goals such as weight loss, lessen back pain, and achieve improved fitness through personal training. This specific and alignment focused training is also highly beneficial to yogis who desire more strength in their yoga practice.
Clare’s fitness journey has a broad scope of experience ranging from 5k , 8k, and half marathon races, powerlifting competitions, competing and winning 3 overall Virginia Bikini Division titles and placing top 5 of her division at the national level in the NPC (National Physique Committee), to becoming an enthusiastic yogi and Registered Yoga Teacher.
Currently, Clare is a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, a USA Weightlifting Certified Sports Performance Level 1 Coach, and a 200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher who likes to choke people out using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).
